followers are becoming a second pnl
trading is becoming increasingly social.
i see it with streamers, traders, retail, even friends around me: they are no longer optimizing only for pnl or leaderboard rank. they also care about followers.
fomo makes this explicit. trades become a real-time feed, performance becomes a profile, leaderboards make skill discoverable, and every good position can attract an audience.
this changes what a trade produces.
it still produces pnl, but it can now produce content, reputation, and distribution. a good call is no longer private proof. it becomes a public event that compounds into recognition.
youtube did this to video. twitter did it to opinions. social trading is now doing it to financial performance.
and in crypto, undeniable recognition has value. a visible track record creates trust, access, and reach.
followers are becoming a second pnl.
